Last week was a great first week here in our new sermon series, #hollyacts. Many prayers were lifted up for our community. As the first disciples were “devoted to prayer,” prayer is a huge part of us coming together before God.
Week 1 -Praying for our community.
Here now in week 2, we are encouraging you to listen. In Acts 6, the first disciples listened. They listened and heard of the need in their community that needed addressed. One of the greatest gifts you can give someone is to listen. You can help ensure they know you are listening by acknowledging what you are hearing. This is known as reflective listening.
